Despite this Carlos Quinito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dionisio Olivar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jusepe Delgado. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Quinito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Quinito made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Maximiliano Galnares sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciano Sainz to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Quinito came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Ciano Sainz. But to his dismay, Ciano Sainz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Vincente Japón got a free kick in the 59th minute. Eustacio Gaskon might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jusepe Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Gaskon ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Quico Castro. After 63 minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dionisio Olivar who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Boca Juniors's corner Niceto Jobo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jusepe Delgado quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jusepe Delgado made a huge save. Erasmo Gotzon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Anselmo Lehior's late challenge caught a C.D. Ciudad de Soria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciudad de Soria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
