Franciszek Kaszubik was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Nova Galaxy's players had a chance to rest.

In the 55th minute, Ludomil Dula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Giorda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Super Nova Galaxy booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Furia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Giorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Kaszubik, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Herbert Wawak came out of the goal and Augusto Furia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Super Nova Galaxy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merceron United throughout the match.
