Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5701, Seating: 1748, VIP seats: 151) Super Nova Galaxy's Ludomil Dula started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Israel Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 9 minutes into the match, Super Nova Galaxy's goalkeeper Herbert Wawak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Ponte. After 10 minutes of play, Super Nova Galaxy's Ludomil Dula made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Valverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Ponte got free with Herbert Wawak in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Super Nova Galaxy's Ludomil Dula in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Exército Português's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Super Nova Galaxy booed when Exército Português was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Durães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludomil Dula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Valverde having to make a save. Herbert Wawak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Durães in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Dula came free, but Sandro Valverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Wawak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Israel Correia came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Exército Português fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Correia couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Augusto Ponte made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wawak having to interfere. Sandro Valverde made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ludomil Dula sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes Exército Português got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Ponte. After 68 played minutes Super Nova Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Dula. Franciszek Kaszubik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Valverde having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Ludomil Dula dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandro Valverde, 0-2. If Augusto Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Kaszubiks short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Sandro Valverde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 84 played minutes Super Nova Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Borys Nowak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Palha in the 86th minute of play forced Super Nova Galaxy's goalkeeper Herbert Wawak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Wawak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Palha, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Exército Português's Sandro Valverde got control of the ball when Ludomil Dula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Super Nova Galaxy's Herbert Wawak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Palha in the 96th minute of play. The Super Nova Galaxy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Super Nova Galaxy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
