In the 4th minute, Real Trabzon Sk's Sefa Tanaltay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 7th minute, Sefa Tanaltay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Trabzon Sk's Mustafa Emrah Başat got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sefa Tanaltay scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Giorda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Furia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Real Trabzon Sk getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Refik Kayıboylu hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Trabzon Sk booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Mandelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Emrah Başat hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Zeynel Celvet charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeynel Celvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alberto Giorda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Emrah Başat's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Mandelli in the 46th minute of play forced Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sefa Tanaltay to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Emrah Başat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alberto Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sefa Tanaltay in the 55th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Trabzon Sk's Ali Asım Tuğyan got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mustafa Emrah Başat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceron United's Alberto Giorda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Carlo Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play, Merceron United's Carlo Mandelli made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uğurcan Çakır was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Refik Kayıboylu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Aydın Özarı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Giorda. Merceron United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aydın Özarı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. With a little luck, Real Trabzon Sk's Uğurcan Çakır got control of the ball when Carlo Mandelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Merceron United defense, Refik Kayıboylu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Giorda. The Merceron United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Giorda should have stopped the shot. Sefa Tanaltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Augusto Furia hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Real Trabzon Sk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
