Jens Oschwald hit a great ball. Cameron Bragger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Soter in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Ramon Witzig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes, Joaquin Soter made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Cameron Bragger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Oschwald came free, but Rigoberto Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Yannis Perathoner came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Zelg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannis Perathoner couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Yannis Perathoner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Joaquin Soter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cameron Bragger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 21 minutes, Harlow Beyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harlow Beyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Ilixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yannis Perathoner's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Jurgi in the 26th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Cameron Bragger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Yannis Perathoner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zelg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yannis Perathoner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ilixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, one of Zelg FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zelg FC:s Cameron Bragger showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Sidro:s penalty. Zelg FC's Cameron Bragger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Ramon Witzig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Libertad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Astros de México's Ivan Libertad got a free kick in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Soter to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Witzig during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cameron Bragger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Soter's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Harlow Beyer kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Vogt got free with Rigoberto Ilixo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
