The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Clube Audax Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yves Marquart came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Tomás Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 17th minute, Tomás Borges fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Audax Metropolitano's Tomás Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yves Marquart. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Tomás Borges got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Borges in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yves Marquart saved TSV Delliehausen from getting behind. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tomás Borges sped through TSV Delliehausen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yves Marquart. Miguel Fontes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 35 minutes into the game, Tomás Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Yves Marquart was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Paulo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Yves Marquart managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Clube Audax Metropolitano's Miguel Fontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 42 in the game by Miguel Fontes from a close distance when the talented Yves Marquart managed to make a qualified save. TSV Delliehausen's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, TSV Delliehausen's Eitel Sebastian got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes, Ulrich Frechen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSV Delliehausen and the Clube Audax Metropolitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Borges was the one to do the kick off. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Miguel Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Tomás Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yves Marquart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Tomás Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Marquart having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Borges in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yves Marquart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Sílvio Luís Pimenta was substituted for Germano Gerber. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Victor Mattos was substituted for Luís Paulo Maia. When Tomás Borges came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Borges couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Borges in the 69th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Yves Marquart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalbert Gniech didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Delliehausen's zone, Tomás Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Marquart came out of the goal and Tomás Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elmar Brink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Berland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Falcão Severo made a huge save. Yves Marquart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Mattos in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Tomás Borges made a precise shot to the right of Yves Marquart. TSV Delliehausen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans cheered their team off the field, for while TSV Delliehausen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
