Yves Marquart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Barros Schelloto during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Duardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Berland. In the 10th minute, Sven Berland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Kapelle in the 15th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Frontera AFC's Tomas Duardo got control of the ball when Dieter Kapelle tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sven Berland hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Adrian Selatse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frontera AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV Delliehausen the free kick. Adrian Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Duardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmar Brink. In the 29th minute, Teo Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Delgado took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yves Marquart. Yves Marquart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Frontera AFC's Marcelo Delgado in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TSV Delliehausen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Eitel Sebastian made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Duardo. Frontera AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alejo Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Calixto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Marquart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Barros Schelloto didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Berland to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Eitel Sebastian notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Frontera AFC's Tomas Duardo. Tomas Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eitel Sebastian in the 59th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Frontera AFC's Yves Marquart threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Delgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Delgado in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yves Marquart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Delgado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yves Marquart. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. Marcelo Delgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Yves Marquart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Selatse was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dieter Kapelle shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alejo Calixto might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yves Marquart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Calixto ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Marquart having to interfere. Alejo Calixto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Yves Marquart made a huge save. After 98 played minutes TSV Delliehausen got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Kapelle. Alejo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Yves Marquart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Frontera AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
