An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Jakue in the 6th minute of play forced 上海浦东戈士队's goalkeeper 吴军然 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Cayetano Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 吴军然 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Mateo Petrigai got a free kick in the 17th minute. Leon Galindo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, 姚青雄 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gervasio Macario. The goal made the score 1-0. Domingos Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. 吴军然 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Domingos Sandalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 上海浦东戈士队's 吴军然 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 played minutes 上海浦东戈士队 got a freekick which was hit by 朱景庭. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leo Perna hit a great ball. 梅国森 charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 梅国森 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes 上海浦东戈士队 got a freekick which was hit by 梅国森. 梅国森 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 姚青雄 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Macario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 梅国森 went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Juniors FC's Domingos Sandalio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 吴军然. 吴军然 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 姚青雄's late challenge caught a Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 姚青雄 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 上海浦东戈士队 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. 姚青雄 hit a great ball. 袁霆寒 charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 袁霆寒 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Emilio Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, 上海浦东戈士队's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Machado came free, but 吴军然 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Jakue scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 吴军然, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to 上海浦东戈士队 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. 袁霆寒 hit a great ball. 吴军然 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Juniors FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 上海浦东戈士队.
