Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Clube Audax Metropolitano's Tomás Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael got control of the ball when Miguel Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 played minutes Mystyc FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Veto. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Audax Metropolitano's Luís Paulo Maia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejandro Raphael. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Maia in the 16th minute of play. Generoso Veto's late challenge caught a Clube Audax Metropolitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Veto helped the player get up and apologised. Generoso Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Raphael was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Luís Paulo Maia put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Raphael. Alejandro Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Maia in the 24th minute of play. Alejandro Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Matias Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alejandro Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Severo having to interfere. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Generoso Veto hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Maximo Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mystyc FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Audax Metropolitano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Maximo Franco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Garcia to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Miguel Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matias Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Victor Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alejandro Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tomás Borges came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Borges couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Mystyc FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Ibar. Alejandro Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Mattos in the 78th minute of play forced Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Candido Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mystyc FC and the Clube Audax Metropolitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Matias Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mystyc FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Severo having to interfere.
