Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusébio Messias started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Waldemar Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarquinhosEC's Guto de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, MAGNIFICOS.FC's Flavinho Bastos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Flavinho Bastos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MAGNIFICOS.FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Flavinho Bastos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when MAGNIFICOS.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, MarquinhosEC's Fabinho Marinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Ciro Simões reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorival Moura. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 41st minute Eusébio Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Barral. Eusébio Messias scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luiz Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto de Toledo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Virgílio Moreno's late challenge caught a MarquinhosEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, MAGNIFICOS.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Moreno to maneuver through the defense. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Dorival Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Marinho in the 59th minute of play. Dorival Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Simões in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the MAGNIFICOS.FC defense, Ciro Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorival Moura. The MAGNIFICOS.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorival Moura should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Reynaldo Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dorival Moura came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Fabinho Marinho. But to his dismay, Fabinho Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 75 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Barral. 78 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Simões came free, but Dorival Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Ciro Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eusébio Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luiz Baiano made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Eusébio Messias sent off a good shot on target. Henrique Domingues hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Prado in the 85th minute of play forced MAGNIFICOS.FC's goalkeeper Dorival Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorival Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Simões in the 92nd minute of play forced MAGNIFICOS.FC's goalkeeper Dorival Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarquinhosEC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
