Bebeto de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Odon went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Quilino came free, but Bebeto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Odon in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ambrosio Odon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bebeto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bebeto de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Saladillo FC's Narciso Corderro. But to his dismay, Narciso Corderro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Elpidio Quilino struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bebeto de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Saladillo FC. 26 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Niguel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Machado. In the 28th minute, AITEC's Matías Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonzalo Niguel. Gonzalo Niguel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The supporters of Atletico Saladillo FC booed when AITEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Velloso. Bebeto de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Odon in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Urtsin came free, but Bebeto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Ambrosio Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Niguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Machado in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Quilino to make the kick off. Gonzalo Niguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Odon in the 53rd minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save AITEC from getting a goal against them. Ambrosio Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Bebeto de Azevedo made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Sílvio Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AITEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Saladillo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, AITEC's Sílvio Vides got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo de Lara. When Narciso Toli came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Atletico Saladillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Toli couldn't finish the play. In the 76th match minute, AITEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Machado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Quilino in the 78th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AITEC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo got control of the ball when Ambrosio Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Odon.
