After a rather tough play, AITEC's Otávio Gonzales got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Matías Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS booed when AITEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Otávio Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Erauso having to interfere. Anibal Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bebeto de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebeto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Gonzales in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the AITEC defense, Jorge Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto de Azevedo. The AITEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Bebeto de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Roland in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jorge Jerico made a precise shot to the right of Bebeto de Azevedo. AITEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Jerico came free, but Bebeto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, AITEC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Bastia came free, but Bebeto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 63rd match minute, AITEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo de Lara to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Eleuterio Carlomagno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Carlomagno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Matías Machado fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AITEC's protests and gave Matías Machado a yellow card for diving instead. Matías Machado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Roland in the 67th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matías Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AITEC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fiori Dantas hit a great ball. Eleuterio Carlomagno might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bebeto de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Carlomagno ran back to his position shaking his head. Sílvio Vides was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. The supporters of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS booed when AITEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Eleuterio Carlomagno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Carlomagno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AITEC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
