Segundo Ramone hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Paulo José Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Augusto Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Robustiano Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zé Augusto Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ECS FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Augusto Pirani couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Aguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of ECS FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of lןןl La Coconeta:s goal. Emanuel Ortiz had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Eugenio Argoitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Salvador Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes in the game Ernani Bittencourt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Júlio Vianna. The supporters of ECS FK booed when lןןl La Coconeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 101st minute, Júlio Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ECS FK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
