Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristian Alonso made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Arturo Urtsin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarquinhosEC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Atletico Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luan Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Odon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luan Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cristian Alonso fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Saladillo FC's protests and gave Cristian Alonso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cristian Alonso hit a great ball. Arturo Urtsin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fabinho Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gonzalo Niguel made a huge save. Cristian Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Guto de Toledo. Luan Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Atletico Saladillo FC's Ambrosio Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gonzalo Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Souto in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Odon in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Duarte Barral hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Sergio Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabinho Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Ambrosio Odon could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Luan Nogueira however easily saved by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Souto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atletico Saladillo FC's Gonzalo Niguel. Gonzalo Niguel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Berart hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Ambrosio Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Saladillo FC's Gonzalo Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Simões in the 72nd minute of play. Gonzalo Niguel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Simões went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Fabinho Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the MarquinhosEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Marinho couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Barral during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Barral. Cristian Alonso struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Luan Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Saladillo FC. Ambrosio Odon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Nogueira having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Saladillo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
