In the 17th match minute, ECS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Matías Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Ortiz having to interfere. Otávio Gonzales succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, ECS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Gonzales came free, but Emanuel Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ECS FK's Júlio Vianna got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Pirani in the 36th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Iuri da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ECS FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AITEC the free kick. After a rather tough play, ECS FK's Iuri da Rocha got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo got control of the ball when Paulo José Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

AITEC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. AITEC's Luiz Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Otávio Gonzales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Ortiz. The goal made the score 1-2.
