The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Otávio Gonzales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Erauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 6 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo de Lara. AITEC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hipolito Abadie 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. When Matías Machado fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AITEC's protests and gave Matías Machado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, AITEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Machado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Abadie in the 16th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AITEC's Bebeto de Azevedo got control of the ball when Jorge Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bebeto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Jerico got free with Bebeto de Azevedo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Santiago Kismi hit a great ball. The supporters of AITEC booed when JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Gaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Iban. 40 minutes into the match, AITEC's goalkeeper Bebeto de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Jerico. Luiz Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Jerico to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS booed when AITEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, AITEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Dantas to maneuver through the defense. AITEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 81st minute Jorge Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Abadie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bebeto de Azevedo having to make a save. Jorge Jerico took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto de Azevedo. Bebeto de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There was no doubt that JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS were the better team. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
