If Michael De Maret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Klavertje Vier fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when FC Klavertje Vier's Vincent Van der Vorst looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Vincent Van der Vorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Rik was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Joel Van Beersel charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Ayapaso FC booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Van Beersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Ayapaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ado. A collision led to Ayapaso FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mauricio Alonso hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Vincent Van der Vorst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 28thth minute of the game Vincent Van der Vorst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayapaso FC's Rogelio Rik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogelio Rik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael De Maret went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ayapaso FC's zone, Vincent Van der Vorst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Rik came out of the goal and Vincent Van der Vorst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vincent Van der Vorst took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Rik. Rogelio Rik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rogelio Rik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Van Beersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Elias Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Van Boeckost to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Satordi made a kick off. Michael De Maret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Rik having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ayapaso FC defense, Vincent Van der Vorst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Rik. The Ayapaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Rik should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Vincent Van der Vorst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Rogelio Rik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Vincent Van der Vorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Rik was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ayapaso FC's Rogelio Rik got control of the ball when Vincent Van der Vorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ayapaso FC's Rogelio Rik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ayapaso FC from getting a goal against them. When Eustacio Ado fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayapaso FC's protests and gave Eustacio Ado a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Ayapaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ado. 82 minutes into the match, Ayapaso FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Rik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Van der Vorst. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gerrit Van Boeckost took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Rogelio Rik to make any attempt to save it. After 89 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Van Boeckost. 92 minutes into the game, Gerrit Van Boeckost recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogelio Rik. Gerrit Van Boeckost showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 97th minute, Thys Van De Gehuchte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogelio Rik. The goal made the score 0-9. The FC Klavertje Vier players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
