The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Nalo made a kick off. Ruben Fagondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ipar Monzonis's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ruben Fagondo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Ipar Monzonis. But to his dismay, Ipar Monzonis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The supporters of chacarita1969 booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidal Ximeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Benedicto Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ipar Monzonis in the 71st minute of the match. Ruben Fagondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
