Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ermegildo Guilabertus started the match with the kick off. Charles Cheepers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Charles Cheepers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Schoonwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Cheepers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the chacarita1969 defense, Charles Cheepers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Fagondo. The chacarita1969 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Fagondo should have stopped the shot. Pieter-Jan Roelandts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, KV Schoonwater's Pieter-Jan Roelandts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Fagondo. Ruben Fagondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Marc Saelens kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jeremie Verhengen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ruben Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Roelandts in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Fagondo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 44 minutes into the match, chacarita1969's goalkeeper Ruben Fagondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurenz Kerselaers. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pieter-Jan Roelandts to make the kick off. The supporters of chacarita1969 booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Eekhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pieter-Jan Roelandts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremie Verhengen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When KV Schoonwater's Charles Cheepers in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ruben Fagondo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Jean Van Aerschot replaced Marc Saelens. Ruben Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Van Aerschot to maneuver through the defense. KV Schoonwater walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
