The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Toni Kroos MGZ™ got a freekick which was hit by Nico Godoi. Vito Alagoano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes, Andrézinho Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toni Kroos MGZ™ and the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Toni Kroos MGZ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastiano Macilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Toni Kroos MGZ™ got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Aguiar. Tomás Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Ximeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Paulão Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Dep. Soc. Rodo the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Toni Kroos MGZ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ipar Monzonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ipar Monzonis came free, but Tomás Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Ximeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Soc. Rodo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s Donatello Barajo showed great skill when he stopped Roberto Bittencourt:s penalty. Tomás Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidal Ximeno in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ipar Monzonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Arósio. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ipar Monzonis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Bittencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ipar Monzonis scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Arósio, making the score, 0-2. Toni Kroos MGZ™ were furious when Paulão Aguiar was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th minute, Paulão Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Mero Barbadillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vidal Ximeno scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donatello Barajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Vidal Ximeno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Arósio. The goal made the score 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Tomás Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastiano Macilla. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Vidal Ximeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidal Ximeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
