Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) In the 2nd match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Saelens to maneuver through the defense. Joacim Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Rauvoets having to interfere. When Alexander Dahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arye Suryoye's protests and gave Alexander Dahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. Alexander Dahlgren hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Pieter-Jan Roelandts scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Björnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arye Suryoye's Alexander Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Cheepers in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Pieter-Jan Roelandts made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Björnsson. Arye Suryoye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. KV Schoonwater's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laurenz Kerselaers in the 18th minute. KV Schoonwater's Laurenz Kerselaers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Björnsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Arye Suryoye defense, Pieter-Jan Roelandts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Björnsson. The Arye Suryoye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Björnsson should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes of play, KV Schoonwater's Charles Cheepers made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Björnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, KV Schoonwater's Nicky Rauvoets got control of the ball when Ingvar Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natan Van Eijcken hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Laurenz Kerselaers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Schoonwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Torbjörn Berglund hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Kent Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Rauvoets having to interfere. If Laurenz Kerselaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Björnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joacim Ekblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Laurenz Kerselaers hit a great ball. Ernst Bellinkx kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Laurenz Kerselaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arye Suryoye's zone, Marc Saelens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Björnsson came out of the goal and Marc Saelens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pieter-Jan Roelandts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter-Jan Roelandts hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. KV Schoonwater's Gilles Wenderix was substituted for Marc Saelens. Morgan Emander hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gilles Wenderix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurenz Kerselaers scored 1-7 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Björnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Arye Suryoye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KV Schoonwater were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
