When Hilario Olo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mapovihesa FC's protests and gave Hilario Olo a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Olo. After having played for 14 minutes, Carmelo Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falcor Athletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Ederono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Iruinea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Suero in the 16th minute. Severiano Herena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Nunez Iruinea made a huge save. Nunez Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Garaile in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Falcor Athletic Club's Celestino Eufemio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Nunez Iruinea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcelino Ubarna. A collision led to Falcor Athletic Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celestino Eufemio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that David Elorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Osoro was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Severiano Herena notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea. Nunez Iruinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goalkeeper Nunez Iruinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Herena. Nunez Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nunez Iruinea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Herena in the 40th minute. Filomeno Lleir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Osoro having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Garaile to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Modesto Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Severiano Herena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Iruinea. Falcor Athletic Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Herena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Herena came free, but Nunez Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Falcor Athletic Club booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Suero didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Suero in the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Gabriel Garaile notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea. Nunez Iruinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Gabriel Garaile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mapovihesa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 78th minute, Celestino Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Ubarna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nunez Iruinea. Falcor Athletic Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nunez Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Herena in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Falcor Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Garaile came free, but Nunez Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Marcelino Ubarna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Iruinea skillfully saved the ball. Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Suero in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mapovihesa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Falcor Athletic Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
