Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) A. Korn's Gerardo Txeru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Logan McCubbin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidoro Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Fabian Chuan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fergus Fairbairn, passed just outside the right post. Gerardo Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fergus Fairbairn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Raymond Johnston put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Ixaka. Isidoro Ixaka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raymond Johnston went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Johnston in the 27th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Isidoro Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Raymond Johnston sped through A. Korn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Ixaka. In the 33rd minute Gary Gowan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Logan McCubbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. Korn's Isidoro Ixaka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rangers FC's Alexander McCabe pulled a muscle in his leg after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiran Pimienta during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiran Pimienta hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 52 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Johnston. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Alejo Cilio got a free kick in the 54th minute. Isidoro Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Johnston, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Isidoro Ixaka was a little too slow when Raymond Johnston got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-6. 65 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Txeru came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Rangers FC defense, Gerardo Txeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. The Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Fairbairn should have stopped the shot. Isidoro Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Gowan in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's Gary Gowan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Ixaka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Raymond Johnston rounded A. Korn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Isidoro Ixaka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Logan McCubbin's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Raymond Johnston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isidoro Ixaka, 1-8. After 97 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Lamb.
