Rafa Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rafa Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raymond Johnston went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Raymond Johnston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Pitta was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Darius Bontine got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hamílton Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafa Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Johnston, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Pitta was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Baptista in the 44th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stevie McGilvray kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Hamílton Baptista's late challenge caught a Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 71st minute, João Adolfo Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Tyler McCraw from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Rafa Pitta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 77 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Keith McNiter. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Nelsinho Bastos got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Carr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rangers FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
