Spectators: 6824 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saverio Caradaro started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Ferdi Dekens made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Domingo Maria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arjan van Zijp hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Saverio Caradaro hit a great ball. Ferdi Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Maria having to interfere. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Domingo Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk-Jan Slot in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferdi Dekens was slow to take the kick. During this time Zijdewind SC's players had a chance to rest. Henk-Jan Slot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Maria having to interfere. Domingo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Zaagman in the 25th minute of play. Arjan van Zijp kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Simon Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Klompe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Dante Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henk-Jan Slot made a kick off. Domingo Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk-Jan Slot in the 55th minute of the match. Domingo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arjan van Zijp hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Amado Tome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Saverio Caradaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Tome's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Tome helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Tome to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zijdewind SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amado Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's players had a chance to rest. When Ferdi Dekens came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Zijdewind SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdi Dekens couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Domingo Maria got control of the ball when Henk Zaagman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdi Dekens kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's keeper Domingo Maria was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 80th play minute Ferdi Dekens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingo Maria. 0-2. 87 minutes into the match, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goalkeeper Domingo Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdi Dekens. After a rather tough play, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Pablo Etxahun got a free kick in the 87th minute. Rolando Berenguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Henk Zaagman fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zijdewind SC's protests and gave Henk Zaagman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Zaagman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Zijdewind SC's Henk-Jan Slot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Maria. Domingo Maria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
