One of Kalatakaya F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zijdewind SC:s goal. 25 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Bento Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdi Dekens. Bento Abeita was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Henk Zaagman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henk Zaagman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 29th minute Henk-Jan Slot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Abeitia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nardo Abadia. Bento Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastiaan Schattenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdi Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Abeita having to interfere. Henk Zaagman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bento Abeita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. After 60 minutes of play, Zijdewind SC's Sebastiaan Schattenberg made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bento Abeita was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 71st minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Bento Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Dekens in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Cris Abajas got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's Henk-Jan Slot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Abeita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Mario Klompe managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Kalatakaya F.C.'s Loreto Abaurre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 81 minutes into the game, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Etxahun Abastas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Klompe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Ferdi Dekens scored 4-5 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bento Abeita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes, Henk Zaagman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zijdewind SC and the Kalatakaya F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
