The referee ignored Suipacha FC's protests and gave Constantino Beila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Passos to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Nicolau Fagundes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mario Brion, 2-0. Mario Brion was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gervásio Anjos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Rodolfo Eguzki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cesário Sanches firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Plácido Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Pontassolense's supporters rose to their feet, but Plácido Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Brion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AD Pontassolense had won after a very even match.
