To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Frederico came free, but Mario Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mario Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Constantino Beila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Tonio. Vinará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Beila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Frederico in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Brion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznar came free, but Mario Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vinará FC booed when Suipacha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Arce made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Urtsin in the 53rd minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Esteve Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Vinará FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Eguzki who took care of the corner kick. In the 60thth minute of the game Hernan Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará FC's Esteve Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 minutes Vinará FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Eguzki who took care of the corner kick. Rodolfo Eguzki made a great header on Suipacha FC's corner, it was just that Vinará FC's Esteve Tonio managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernardino Santxol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match.
