In the 16th minute Gustavo Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edelmiro Txaran fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinará FC's protests and gave Edelmiro Txaran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vinará FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Edelmiro Txaran hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Braulio Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Tonio. Vinará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Hotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Esteve Tonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hotz in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gonzalo Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Frederico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Gagriel having to make a save. AC LeX Luthor's Braulio Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Hotz in the 94th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Esteve Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Uriel Elazar got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Vinará FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC LeX Luthor's performance. The match ended with a win for AC LeX Luthor.
