After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Wilfredo Huarte got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 6 minutes of play, Buitenhout FC's Willem Oosterman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristián santillana was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Dijkman. In the 23rd minute Willem Oosterman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián santillana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willem Oosterman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Berend Alkema hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Xorxe Verges got a free kick in the 40th minute. Roy Kostermans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristián santillana having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willem Oosterman was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Germán Alonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arjen Rodenboog was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Buitenhout FC's Arjen Rodenboog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluis Naranjo in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Wilfred Adelaar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristián santillana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Buitenhout FC's Rogier Veltman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristián santillana. That made the score 1-2 after 61 minutes of play. Roy Kostermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cristián santillana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willem Oosterman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cristián santillana made a huge save. Lluis Naranjo's late challenge caught a Buitenhout FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lluis Naranjo helped the player get up and apologised. Lluis Naranjo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Dante Palacios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Buitenhout FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Palacios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Fabian Randag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buitenhout FC and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Randag to maneuver through the defense. When Roy Kostermans in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Cristián santillana kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Jaap Borgman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristián santillana having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Roy Kostermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitenhout FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Kostermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristián santillana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xorxe Verges to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Roy Kostermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buitenhout FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Kostermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Buitenhout FC's Wilfred Adelaar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristián santillana. That made the score 1-4 after 90 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Wilfred Adelaar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Buitenhout FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Boca Juniors side.
