Stanislaw Augustyniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafel Llama having to interfere. Perfecto Tabernilla lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodor Urbilla to make the kick off. The Nightmare supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nightmare would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
