RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Lertxun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Joannes Vischkens came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Celis. With a little luck, North Hill United's Octave Cempenaers got control of the ball when Higinio Nofre tried to sneak it across the goal line. North Hill United's attentive Patrik Sabbe managed to snatch the ball when Cecilio Rencio made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Octave Cempenaers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Endira in the 18th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Jeff Nelleboedske put in a rough tackle. Jeff Nelleboedske kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of RIVER booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nic Van Turnhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octave Cempenaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Dheedene kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, North Hill United's Octave Cempenaers got control of the ball when Anselmo Esdras tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Octave Cempenaers managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when RIVER's Anselmo Esdras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rd minute, Nic Van Turnhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Esdras to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lissens in the 54th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Leo Lissens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Jerrald. Leo Lissens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of RIVER booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Dheedene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Esdras scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octave Cempenaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Astigar charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Astigar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Astigar. 78 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Lissens came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes RIVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nic Van Turnhout who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Joannes Vischkens got a free kick in the 81st minute. Narciso Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lissens in the 90th minute of the match. Nic Van Turnhout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Narciso Jerrald made a huge save. RIVER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
