Dieguinho Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Rex Marler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Campidelis. 21 minutes into the match, Simon Roche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Roberto Chaves. União Agrícola Barbarense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Roche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rex Marler. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Des Ealham kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eddy Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Roberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rex Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Roche to make the kick off. After having played for 62 minutes, Camron Bullard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rex Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Mendes in the 63rd minute of the match. Carlos Alberto de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Camron Bullard came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Arrows Academy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camron Bullard couldn't finish the play. Kurt Boyce's late challenge caught a União Agrícola Barbarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Boyce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Kurt Boyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Dorian Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Agrícola Barbarense and the Arrows Academy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute of the match Vladimir Valadares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rex Marler skillfully saved the ball. The referee gave Dorian Campidelis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
