When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, RIVER's Samuel Lertxun got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jairo Hegoi. In the 11th minute, RIVER's Cristian Jerardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Narciso Jerrald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Luix went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Nicasio Mendebal succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Boulogne F.C.'s Jairo Hegoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anselmo Esdras 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Esdras made a kick off. The supporters of RIVER booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper Jairo Hegoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boulogne F.C.'s Jairo Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Endira in the 54th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Hegoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Higinio Nofre hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Higinio Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Higinio Nofre made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Hegoi. Boulogne F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Boulogne F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Honorato Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Filomeno Canor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Jerrald showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the RIVER players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
