Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Esdras took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simon Roches short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Narciso Jerrald to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Narciso Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Simon Roche sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Roche came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Jerrald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camron Bullard in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Simon Roche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Jerrald. Simon Roche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Hernando in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Roche during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arrows Academy FC's Rex Marler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Mendebal in the 24th minute of play. Rex Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camron Bullard. With a little luck, RIVER's Narciso Jerrald got control of the ball when Simon Roche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camron Bullard took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Jerrald. Narciso Jerrald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 41st minute, Gerardo Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Camron Bullard sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Roche to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Arrows Academy FC's Kurt Boyce seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kurt Boyce the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arrows Academy FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kurt Boyce had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Arrows Academy FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RIVER:s goal. In the 63rd minute, RIVER's Alvaro Hernando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rex Marler. Rex Marler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Rex Marler made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Nicasio Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Rex Marler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Camron Bullard took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Jerrald. Narciso Jerrald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 82nd minute Anselmo Esdras suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Narciso Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Bullard in the 87th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Florentino Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Marler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arrows Academy FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while RIVER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
