Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as German Mikelar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blair Buckle. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Saul Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Harrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Henry Talbot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Muc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 26 minutes into the game, Patricio Eder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA MAQUINA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staffordshire Terrier FC the free kick. A collision led to LA MAQUINA F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Patricio Eder hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rich Clough in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Muc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteve Amato in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blair Buckle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Frankie Manson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rich Clough to strike the kick off in the second half. Babe Spencer charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Babe Spencer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Babe Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Chris Harrison got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute German Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Buckle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Damion Leighton got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Graham Long was substituted for Rich Clough. Damion Leighton hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With his leg Saul Muc managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Staffordshire Terrier FC's Graham Long fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 minutes, Jimeno Estevon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA MAQUINA F.C and the Staffordshire Terrier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chris Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Muc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graham Long's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Saul Muc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 82nd match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Graham Long made a precise shot to the right of Saul Muc. LA MAQUINA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Graham Long took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Muc. Saul Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Chris Harrison came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Staffordshire Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Harrison couldn't finish the play. The Staffordshire Terrier FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Staffordshire Terrier FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
