Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Club Deportivo Santiago's Ambrossi Colina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iachetti Riart during the 6th minute. The Ugonotti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Castellazzi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Cerri in the 14th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Roldan Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when Ugonotti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Fortunato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Ugonotti got a freekick which was hit by Frank Marcon. 22 minutes into the game, Iachetti Riart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Camillo Castellazzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carter Cerri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldan Barreto having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Sciarra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roldan Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walme Jaquinot kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Florian Cipollone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Roldan Barreto made a huge save. After 40 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Iachetti Riart made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camillo Castellazzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goal looked a bit too open when Reasco Abres came free, but Camillo Castellazzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carter Cerri in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roldan Barreto saved Club Deportivo Santiago from getting behind. Ambrossi Colina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Camillo Castellazzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Ugonotti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Marcon to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Victoriano Guim in the 59th minute really tested Camillo Castellazzi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Camillo Castellazzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrossi Colina in the 66th minute. Mauricio Irizarry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Castellazzi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Reasco Abres took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Camillo Castellazzi to make any attempt to save it. Club Deportivo Santiago's Roldan Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Cerri in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iachetti Vela to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Alessandro Anastasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugonotti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Santiago the free kick. Alessandro Anastasi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Reasco Abres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camillo Castellazzi, 1-6. Roldan Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carter Cerri's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Camillo Castellazzi made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ambrossi Colina sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Club Deportivo Santiago could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ugonotti throughout the match.
