The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Rea didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Edvin Vedå hit a great ball. Stein Naas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Caligaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Fulvio Di Clemente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stein Naas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stein Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Caligaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Caligaris came free, but Stein Naas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Dave Valeriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Løkkeberg. 21 minutes into the match, Markus Tømmervik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Farafulla FC's Dave Valeriani. Dave Valeriani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Di Clemente in the 24th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Stein Naas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Botten charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Stein Naas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulvio Di Clemente in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Håvard Opdal during the 58th minute. Stein Naas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Kristoffer Løkkeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Valeriani having to interfere. Eugenio Caligaris hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Farafulla FC's Eugenio Caligaris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Stein Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Caligaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniele Cavallo scored 1-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stein Naas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute of the match, Fulvio Di Clemente got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stein Naas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Farafulla FC defense, Jon-Erik Boge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Valeriani. The Farafulla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Valeriani should have stopped the shot. The Farafulla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Farafulla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
