In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Dave Valeriani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Jonathan Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 44th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Txanton to maneuver through the defense. After the first half ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Matias Shepherd got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Bernal got free with Dave Valeriani in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Virila.
