The referee ignored Farafulla FC's protests and gave Eugenio Caligaris a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenio Caligaris hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Fulvio Di Clemente scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Dolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Di Clemente in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute Eugenio Caligaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Teodosio Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Caligaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Farafulla FC booed when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Valeriani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Farafulla FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Di Clemente to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jonathan Bernal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Farafulla FC's Dave Valeriani. Dave Valeriani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dave Valeriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Abel in the 76th minute of play. Dave Valeriani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Iker Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jonathan Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Valeriani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Jonathan Bernal sped through Farafulla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Valeriani. In the 95th minute, Farafulla FC's Eugenio Caligaris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Dolfo. Ernesto Dolfo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. When the match was over Farafulla FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ throughout the match.
