Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Magnus Nyberg got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Asarum's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Banana came free, but Michel Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Anzolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Duset having to interfere. With a little luck, Li Archibugieri's Filippo Diana got control of the ball when Bengt Jönsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Asarum's Karl-Magnus Nyberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Diana was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Anzolin in the 24th minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Nyberg got free with Filippo Diana in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Anzolin made a kick off. Armin Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Michel Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Li Archibugieri booed when Asarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Anzolin scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Duset, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Giusto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Bengt Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Erik Bengtsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Engström during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Li Archibugieri booed when Asarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Giusto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Asarum's Karl-Magnus Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Li Archibugieri players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Asarum.
