Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Rudqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Torsten Engström hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Hugo Rudqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Duset was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rudolf Tinglöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Duset having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Köping's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Magnus Nyberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Engström in the 25th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Ulf Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Tinglöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Duset having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Köping's Rudolf Tinglöv made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Duset was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Wallman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Engström's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ulf Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Engström in the 36th minute of play. Frans Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ulf Wallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Asarum booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Magnus Nyberg to make the kick off. Erik Bengtsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulf Wallman. Köping's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Ulf Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Wallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Asarum's Michel Duset got control of the ball when Rudolf Tinglöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Asarum getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bengt Jönsson hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Rudolf Tinglöv notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Asarum's Michel Duset. Michel Duset was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Lindkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Lindkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, one of Asarum:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Asarum. Dag Strand shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 90th minute, Henrik Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asarum's Michel Duset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Asarum from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Köping left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Asarum.
