The crowd rose to their feet as Ivan Kvick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jefferson Goiano. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Rudolf Tinglöv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Tinglöv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Quintal came free, but Ulf Wallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hélder Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xiboquinha FC's protests and gave Hélder Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. Hélder Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ivan Kvick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Jefferson Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ulf Wallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ulf Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Meireles in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Meireles in the 33rd minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Ulf Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's Tomás Quintal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulf Wallman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Xiboquinha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köping:s goal. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Köping's Dag Strand got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jefferson Goiano. 47 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Tinglöv. Jefferson Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Rudqvist in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Rudqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hugo Rudqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hugo Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Köping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. Jefferson Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Rudqvist went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Köping's Ulf Wallman got control of the ball when Joélson Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Köping's Rudolf Tinglöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Rudqvist in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson Goiano saved Xiboquinha FC from getting behind. Ulf Wallman was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Tomás Quintal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Quintal really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. 86 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Kvick came free, but Jefferson Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Valter Strömbom. When Tomás Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Xiboquinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Quintal couldn't finish the play. Köping's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
