Wladyslaw Motowski started the match with the kick off. Cevdet Vecih received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roland Burdzel came out and tried to block the shot, but Cevdet Vecih slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Roland Burdzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevdet Vecih, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Remigiusz Huchro got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the BEŞİKTAŞK defense, Wladyslaw Motowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Necip Fazıl Onat. The BEŞİKTAŞK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necip Fazıl Onat should have stopped the shot. Necip Fazıl Onat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franciszek Karbowski went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Wladyslaw Motowski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of BEŞİKTAŞK's Necip Fazıl Onat. Necip Fazıl Onat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Roman Pusiak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nihat Benlioğlu got free with Roland Burdzel in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Necip Fazıl Onat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fryderyk Wykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cevdet Vecih managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevdet Vecih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Burdzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞK booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Chuchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Motowski took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necip Fazıl Onat. Necip Fazıl Onat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragıp Çetiner was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Motowski in the 52nd minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞK's goalkeeper Necip Fazıl Onat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolgahan Karay hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Roland Burdzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevdet Vecih, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tibet Geçer's late challenge caught a STAL ST WOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibet Geçer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibet Geçer to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Tibet Geçer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaw Kaczanka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's goalkeeper Necip Fazıl Onat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigiusz Huchro. With a little luck, BEŞİKTAŞK's Necip Fazıl Onat got control of the ball when Remigiusz Huchro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Remigiusz Huchro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STAL ST WOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Necip Fazıl Onat made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Remigiusz Huchro sent off a good shot on target. Roland Burdzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Çetiner in the 74th minute of play. After 85 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ceyhan İncili. In the 89th minute, Wladyslaw Motowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Necip Fazıl Onat. The goal made the score 2-6. 93 minutes into the game, Nihat Benlioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-6. Roland Burdzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ragıp Çetiner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Burdzel was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the match was over STAL ST WOLA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BEŞİKTAŞK throughout the match.
