Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florian Bogaard made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Miguel Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasiliense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Julias Rascals Apeldoorn the free kick. Miguel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Narciso Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Bogaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Ted Sleiffer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Abreu. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 16 minutes, Ted Sleiffer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Sleiffer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes, Florian Bogaard made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brasiliense FC's Narciso Abreu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Bogaard in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's Tadeu Custódio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tadeu Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Elroy Eising tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Mussies charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kees Mussies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Kees Mussies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Edinho Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elroy Eising saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's zone, Tadeu Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elroy Eising came out of the goal and Tadeu Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, one of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 57 minutes into the game, Brasiliense FC's Tadeu Custódio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elroy Eising made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Florian Bogaard got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Sleiffer's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Sleiffer helped the player get up and apologised. Narciso Abreu came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Florian Bogaard. But to his dismay, Florian Bogaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Edinho Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elroy Eising having to interfere. When Elano Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasiliense FC's protests and gave Elano Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ted Sleiffer got a free kick in the 79th minute. Roelof Schipper kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hugo Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elroy Eising came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 87th minute. Elroy Eising took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brasiliense FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
