After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Hugo Porto got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Peder Åhman scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Brasiliense FC's Tadeu Custódio in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Befruktas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasiliense FC the free kick. Peder Åhman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Abreu having to make a save. Befruktas FC's Leif Vall got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Befruktas FC's Jakob Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Åhman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Custódio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brasiliense FC's Narciso Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Sundström in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 66th minute of the match Tadeu Custódio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kermit Grodan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Falcão Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kermit Grodan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Befruktas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jakob Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Befruktas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kermit Grodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Narciso Abreu got control of the ball when Christer Hedkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
