After a defensive mix-up in Pretoria Gostyń's zone, Ted Sleiffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Falkowski came out of the goal and Ted Sleiffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslaw Gongola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Gongola kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Rik Meijs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomasz Falkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn reached it. In the 22nd minute, Joost Blommaart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Pretoria Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Hejza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After 83 played minutes Pretoria Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Hejza. 86 minutes in the game Rik Meijs did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roelof Schipper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Bogaard in the 88th minute of play forced Pretoria Gostyń's goalkeeper Tomasz Falkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Falkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pretoria Gostyń from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Craandijk. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn played a much better game than Pretoria Gostyń and deserved their victory. The Pretoria Gostyń players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
