Prospero Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Custódio in the 12th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Asier to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Porto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ernesto Urtsua might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Urtsua ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Porto came free, but Prospero Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Danel to maneuver through the defense. If Edinho Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Urtsua in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Urtsua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Narciso Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maravilla. Tadeu Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Ernesto Urtsua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasiliense FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Ernesto Urtsua got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Edinho Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prospero Muc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Brasiliense FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
