The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Enzo Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Dmytro Dmytruk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. SPERANTZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maravilla the free kick. Dmytro Mykulyak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Urtsua in the 22nd minute of the match. Dmytro Mykulyak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Svyatoslav Chayka placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Vasyl Vovk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Prospero Muc made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Tiburcio Domiku in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C. SPERANTZA's Dmytro Dmytruk. When Ernesto Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Urtsua couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Martinez to strike the kick off in the second half. Enzo Martinez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Dmytro Mykulyak 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Solustiano during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Martinez. If Bogdan Sokyrka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F.C. SPERANTZA booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Haroldo Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 94th minute of the match Dmytro Dmytruk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dmytro Dmytruk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Maravilla booed when F.C. SPERANTZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dmytro Dmytruk didn't get a good kick on the ball.
