When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Andrei Macarie sped through Maravilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Muc. In the 19th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Quinton to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Măgureanu during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Steaua Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Fințescu to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Martinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Muc should have stopped the shot. Ştefan Măgureanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Prospero Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Frutos. After 79 minutes, David Fințescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steaua Bucuresti and the Maravilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Fințescu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Bucuresti's zone, Enzo Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Frânculescu came out of the goal and Enzo Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ştefan Măgureanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maravilla's Prospero Muc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla from getting a goal against them. Steaua Bucuresti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
